These terms cover how appointments, deposits, and services work at My Place Hair & Beauty. They’re here to keep things clear and fair for you, our team, and other clients. By booking with us, you agree to the policies below.
Bookings and deposits
You can book online any time, or by calling the salon. To protect appointment times for everyone, a deposit may be required when you book - in particular for new clients, for bookings over $50, and for clients who have recently missed an appointment. Your deposit comes off the cost of your service on the day.
Changes, cancellations and no-shows
Life happens, and we understand plans change. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us as much notice as you can - ideally at least 24 hours - so we can offer the time to someone else. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in the loss of your deposit, and repeated no-shows may require a deposit for future bookings.
Running late
If you’re running late, please let us know. We’ll always do our best to look after you, but to stay on time for other clients we may need to adjust or reschedule your service if there isn’t enough time remaining.
Your satisfaction
Your happiness matters to us. If something isn’t quite right with your service, please tell us as soon as possible - ideally within 7 days - so we can talk it through and make it right.
Pricing
Final pricing depends on your hair, the products used, and the time your service takes, so it can vary between clients. Where prices are shown they’re a guide; we’ll always confirm costs with you during your consultation.
Gift vouchers
Where gift vouchers are offered, they are valid for the period shown on the voucher, are not redeemable for cash, and should be presented at the time of your appointment.
Products and online shop
Retail products are subject to availability. Where an online shop is offered, purchases, shipping, and returns are handled under the terms shown at checkout.
